The World Poker League is a non-gambling poker league, with tournaments held in every state across the country.

WPL Club offers free nightly No Limit Texas Hold'em tournaments at your favorite local bars, clubs, hotels, and restaurants, where players have the chance to win one of five World Poker League sponsored seats to the World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Project Details

Sophisticated Game Schedule

For this project we developed a sophisticated scheduling system that tracks all games held in various venues, the players that have attended and their scores at the end of the night.

At the end of each tournament, all scores are automatically calculated and displayed in various reports. After the finals, one winner is picked by the system for a chance to play at the World Series in Las Vegas.

Player Profiles

Each player who has signed up has their own personalized profile that shows their personal information as well as real-time scores and stats for their perofrmance.

Event Listings

Players are able to search for games in their area by city, zip code and distance from zip code. We implemented a complicated algorithm that calculates and finds all games within a specified radius from a zip code.

Extensive Admin Panel

To make all this work, we have developed a very sophisticated administration panel that tracks every single aspect of the business - players, player scores, dealers, venues, games played, and more.

Complete reporting functionality is provided that automatically calculates and shows every single aspect of the business.
